Designing and Creating Monuments & Memorials
You may be faced with making many tough decisions in a fast timeline when a loved one has passed away. We want your experience in choosing a monument to be stress-free. The process of a monument's design and creation is, however, time consuming. Whether you alone or a family group are working with our experts to design the ideal memorial, it is vital we take our time to make the monument your family is proud of.
Monument FX is here from design to completion and installation.
After ordering the memorial, our designers will make sure everything is aligned correctly and adjust features as needed to guarantee a beautiful monument. We will then send an updated proof for approval of any changes made. This final proof also serves as the last time to review all spelling, dates, and additional content is appropriate. A vital portion of the job is to ensure accessories like full-color Precious Portraits are completed as requested, and all text and names are spelled correctly. Any misspellings or incorrect dates after approval of the final design is not the responsibility of Monument FX.
As a full-service facility, we take your requested design and create a stencil to place onto your chosen stone. That selected color, shape, and finish of granite has the prepared stencil applied to expose what will become etched text or other artistic features. We then sandblast those details into the stone before coloring and sealing them to your preference. Once we remove the stencil, the entire monument is touched up and clear coated, ready for installation or shipment.
The somewhat slow process of ordering, designing, and creating your monument should help reduce the chance of any settling to the ground beneath. Should settling occur after installation by FX, Monument FX will reset the resting site as needed.
